ooooo looky looky!
This is way cool and I am completely jazzed!! Finally a new piece of equipment is entering the color guard arena. Introducing the air blade. Sort of a loose cross between a rifle and a sabre. I just finished ordering 2 of the buggers for my daughter and myself to play with and see if we want to add it to the field show for next year.
On a side note, we completed choreography on the first song (total of 4 songs in next years show) so we are way ahead of the game. I am a happy camper right now....if I don't think about the loss of my car too much hehe.

Any chance on posting a video of the Guards routines? Or Show?
Annie, If you have a chance to get her into it, there is nothing better - IMHO. They call guard the sport of the arts, so its a great way to mesh sports and arts in secondary school
HOW did I miss colorguard on your tags? HOLY CRAP! I was a drum major in high school and LIVED for marching band. I tried out for a color guard indoor competition squad, but it never got off it's feet. I live for the one time a year I can find the DCI finals on t.v. I will never, ever forgive myself for not pursuing a few years in drum corps after high school.
Oh well, maybe one day, I can volunteer or something......Nicole
