Seeds in my head

My friend Jack over at Jacks blog planted a seed in my head, though he doesn't know it yet and Jack, just a warning - usually the seeds that get planted in my head die from lack of fertilizer (haha).  But never-the-less this one has taken hold and seems to demand to be cared for.

I hope you don't mind me quoting you Jack, but I think that of all the statements, quotes and utterisms (not a word I know, but appropo just the same) I have fallen in love with this one most of all.

I am an idealist and this quote speaks to my idealisms.  I rather like the thought of grass roots movements and the little guy actually winning in the end.  I ALWAYS root for the underdog, most times I am dissappointed, but sometimes not. 

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the bloggers of the world, well most of the bloggers of the world ( I have to cancel out the blogs that revolve themselves around "hot naked women", "fake boobs" or "see the panties of (insert name of latest celebrity") unite for a better cause!? The technology is there, the communication is at our finger tips, more then anytime else in our history, why not use it for good and squash out evil.

I am a newbie in the world of blogging but in my short time around I have read some blogs from people who I would actually vote for president!  I mean the outlook they have of the world, their creative thinking,  their intelligence, wit and views are right along with mine in trying to make a better world.

Wouldn't it be nice if we actually worked with each other and not against each other. Maybe blogs are the place to start to organize this new movement as a human collective?
